Reappraisal Contract: The Town of Berkshire has contracted with New England Municipal Resource Center (NEMRC) to perform the 2027 Town Wide Reappraisal.
Property Inspections: Property inspections will begin in March 2026 and continue until completion. All properties in the Town of Berkshire will be inspected, and the valuations will be updated for the 2027-2028 Grand List Year. The Town Office will send notices to property owners with approximately 2 weeks' notice of property inspections being performed in their area. Please contact the Town Office via phone or email with questions, to provide information, or to schedule an appointment.

A specific code will be provided to each property owner via door note and can be obtained from the Town Office. Updated information is available approximately 4 weeks after a property inspection is performed. Please email the Assessor/Town Clerk if updated information is not available.
Valuation Notices: Property owners will be notified of their updated property assessments/valuations in Spring 2027. Notices will include previous and new property valuations and hearing information. Notices will be mailed to the mailing address on file with the Town Office.
